The Blarney Rebel Band
The Blarney Rebel Band is a group of musicians from the Celtic hotbed of Central New York performing all types of traditional Irish music, from rollicking pub songs to traditional folk fare, from rousing sea songs to moving ballads, from stirring rebel songs to hand-clapping jigs and reels. It's all on display by a group of talented musicians boasting virtuoso musicianship and perfectly blended harmonies, sure to please old and young alike. "Stand With Me Boys," a cut from their second CD was named Best Celtic Song of 2009 in the Irish and Celtic Music Podcast year end listeners poll.
