GAIF Gets Shout-Out on Cleveland Celtic Podcast

Think it's just us who think the Great American Irish Festival is something special? Check this out. Steve Phillips, the guitarist for The Elders, was interviewed on a recent Cleveland Celtic Music Podcast. The interviewer asks Steve "tell me about some of the most memorable performances of 2009. Steve talks about the Kansas City Irish Festival and how huge the crowd was there. Well, OK, that makes sense. The Elders are from Kansas City, they're home-town heroes. So then Steve says, "Let's see, what else? Oh there's the Great American Irish Festival up in Utica, actually up near Utica, in Frankfort. That's a huge festival, and probably the loudest festival I've ever been to, crowd-wise."
